Frege, conocimiento y lenguaje

Abstract

Si bien las ideas de Frege operaron en el recomienzo contemporáneo de la filosofía analítica lo hicieron indirectamente, a través de su influencia en los pensamientos de Russell, Wittgenstein y el Círculo de Viena. Sólo hacia fines de los años sesenta del siglo XX comenzó a ser un lugar común que este conjunto de tesis y conceptos tiene fuertes raíces fregeanas. En lo que sigue se formulan varias de las más influyentes concepciones fregeanas desde el punto de vista del hablante en tanto hablante acerca del mundo.

Frege’s ideas were a major influence in the restatement of analytical philosophy at the turn of 20th century only indirectly, through the efforts of Russell, Wittgenstein and the Vienna Circle. In the late sixties it began to be a commonplace that the set of thesis and concepts focused and discussed after the linguistic turn of philosophical analysis, has strong roots in Frege’s work. In what follows some of the most influential fregean conceptions are revised from the standpoint of the language user as speaker about the world.
