La Internacional Comunista y su Sección Argentina: discordia en torno del 'frente único' a comienzos de la década de 1920

Abstract

Este artículo analiza las primeras reacciones de la dirección del Partido Comunista de la Argentina ante las instrucciones recibidas a través de los agentes designados por la Internacional Comunista para que fuera adoptada localmente la táctica del ´frente único´. El trabajo de archivo emprendido en este estudio demuestra que, lejos de presentar una imagen de partido sometido a los mandatos extranjeros, el PCA conservó en sus inicios una autonomía relativa que le permitía, sin romper con la Comintern y sin aplicar finalmente políticas contrapuestas a ella, cuestionar el sentido universal de las indicaciones recibidas.

This article analyzes the first reactions of the leaders of the Communist Party of Argentina to the instructions received through agents designated by the Communist International about the locally adoption of the tactics of the "united front". The archival work undertaken in this study shows that, far from presenting an image of party under foreign command, the PCA retained in the beginning a relative autonomy that allowed, without breaking with the Comintern and without applying finally to it conflicting policies, questioning the universal sense of the instructions received.
