El manifiesto: expresión apocalíptica de lo moderno: De Marx al posboom latinomericano

Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone leer un género discursivo propio de la modernidad, desde los tonos apocalípticos que lo caracterizan. El manifiesto ha acompañado a las expresiones modernas desde una posición ambigua, crítica y de celebración a la vez. La estructura del manifiesto remeda en cierto modo la estructura del apocalipsis. Niega una realidad vigente pero a la vez anuncia la llegada de lo nuevo. Luego de un corto recorrido por los complejos caminos de la modernidad en América Latina, nos detendremos en manifiestos modernistas, vanguardistas y más recientes como los del posboom.

This paper proposes to read a speech genre of modernity itself, from the apocalyptic tones that characterize it. The Manifesto has accompanied the modern expressions from an ambiguous position, criticism and celebration at a time. The structure shows somewhat mimics the structure of the apocalypse. It denies current reality but also heralds the arrival of the new. After a tour of the complex paths of modernity in Latin America, we will stop in modernist and avant-garde manifests.
