Verdad y praxis filosófica en Foucault y Badiou

Abstract

Quisiera abordar el problema de la verdad en Foucault desde una perspectiva que permita situar la especificidad de la práctica filosófica, tal como él la concibe en su mismo ejercicio, y para ello la propuesta filosófica de Badiou resultará esclarecedora. Pese a que Badiou casi no nombra a Foucault en la formulación de sus propios conceptos, voy a mostrar que su modo de especificar en qué consiste la tarea de la filosofía, su praxis concreta, donde también ocupa un lugar nodal la cuestión de la verdad, es afín a las elaboraciones del último Foucault. En pos de afrontar dicha tarea de elucidación crítica será necesario recorrer algunos tópicos entrelazados al concepto de verdad, tales como sistematicidad, simultaneidad y/o composibilidad.

I would like to approach the problem of the truth in Foucault from a perspective that allows us to situate the specificity of philosophical practice, as he conceived it in the same exercise, and for that Badiou's philosophical proposal will be enlightening. Although Badiou hardly get a mention to Foucault when formulating their own concepts, I will show that his way of specifying in what the task of philosophy consists, its concrete practice, where also the question of the truth take a nodal place, it is affined with the work of the last Foucault. Towards addressing this critical elucidation task it will be required to go through some topics intertwined with the concept of the truth, such as systematic, simultaneity and/or compossibility.
