Propuestas para una criminología menor

Abstract

El contenido de este artículo es primordialmente descriptivo: comienza con la mención de los usos que le atribuimos a la criminología, uno mayor y otro menor, para luego hacer referencia a ciertas fechas importantes para su desarrollo, en términos históricos. Posteriormente mostramos tres posturas que, si bien no pertenecerían de hecho a la criminología menor, ofrecen alternativas a los criterios más tradicionales. A su vez, se intenta dar especificidad a lo que entendemos por menor en criminología y a continuación señalar, sólo preliminarmente, cómo Nietzsche, Kafka, Tarde, Hulsman y Christie podrían ser ubicados dentro de ella. En definitiva, es un esbozo que pretende motivar nuevas formas de percepción en torno a lo que usualmente se considera criminología.

The content of this article is primarily descriptive: it begins with the reference to the uses that we attribute to criminology, one major and one minor, and then it mentions some important dates that were influential in its development, in historical terms. Subsequently, three positions are shown. Although they do not actually belong to the minor criminology, they offer alternatives to traditional criteria. We also try to give specificity to what we mean by minor in criminology and then signal, only in a preliminary way, how Nietzsche, Kafka, Tarde, Hulsman and Christie could be located within it. In short, this is a sketch that aims to motivate new forms of perception about what is usually considered criminology.
