Gestión interlocutiva de la imagen social de mujeres migrantes dominicanas en Comodoro Rivadavia

Abstract

En el marco de la Pragmática Sociocultural, este artículo presenta una aproximación a la problemática de la construcción interpersonal y colaborativa de la imagen social de las mujeres migrantes dominicanas que residen en Comodoro Rivadavia, provincia de Chubut, en la República Argentina. Mediante el análisis de un fragmento de entrevista grupal en el que se aborda la temática de la discriminación , se identifican los mecanismos de gestión interloc utiva de imagen, así como también se logra una descripción y una interpretación de los contenidos de imagen de grupo y de roles, en su doble dimensión: de autonomía y de afiliación. Los resultados de este trabajo son un aporte sustancial a una investigació n en curso que , desde los Estudios Críticos del Discurso , aborda las representaciones sociales sobre la estigmatización y la resistencia en la construcción identitaria de esta comunidad de migrantes.

Based on the framework of Sociocultural Pragmatics, this article presents an approach to the problematic of the interpersonal and collaborative construction of the social image of the Dominican migrant women residing in Comodoro Rivadavia, province of Chubut, in the Argentine Republic. Through the analysis of a fragment of a group interview -in which the issue of discrimination is addressed-, the mechanisms of interlocutive image managem ent are identified, as well as a description and an interpretation of the contents of group images and roles, in its double dimension: autonomy and affiliation. The results of this work are a substantial contribution to an ongoing research that -from the C ritical Discourse Studies- approaches the social representations on stigmatization and resistance in the identity construction of this community of migrants.
