Resumen

We compare the WKB energies for a rational potential proposed recently with the accurate numerical results provided by the Riccati–Padé method and a simple approximate analytical expression. We conclude that the WKB energies are qualitatively incorrect and less accurate than those provided by the simple analytical expression.
