El eterno retorno de la filología

Abstract

Este trabajo se propone realizar un pequeño recorrido por el tópico del retorno de la filología en los estudios literarios, al tiempo que sintetiza los principales conceptos y movimientos críticos de esta filología que ha vuelto a la vida tras el “fin” de todo. El trabajo merodea los diversos “orígenes” de la filología al tiempo que presenta algunos de los textos más emblemáticos del tópico. Además, señala caminos alternativos, igual de centrales e importantes para nuestras epistemologías del sur: es el caso de las filologías latinoamericanas.

This paper aims to make a brief overview of the topic of the return of philology in literary studies, while summarizing the main concepts and critical movements of this philology that has come back to life after the “end” of everything. The work explores the various “origins” of philology while presenting some of the most emblematic texts on the topic. In addition, it points out alternative paths, equally central and important for our epistemologies of the south: this is the case of Latin American philologies.
