Paisajes del hábitat rural: transformaciones territoriales y arquitectura más que humana

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza las transformaciones territoriales y las dinámicas del hábitat rural en el noroeste de Córdoba, desde una perspectiva multidisciplinaria, para explorar la noción de “arquitectura más que humana”. Estudios previos han destacado las tensiones entre los procesos de modernización y las prácticas tradicionales, pero han desestimado la relevancia de los saberes, las afectividades y las materialidades locales en la configuración del hábitat rural. A partir de esta vacancia, el artículo indaga sobre los paisajes del progreso y del hábitat rural para identificar las claves de resistencia y sostenimiento de las comunidades campesinas, procurando la construcción de nuevas narrativas para el sostenimiento de la vida. El análisis combina métodos cualitativos con un enfoque interdisciplinario basado en aportes de geografía crítica y cultural, la arquitectura rural, la filosofía y la antropología posthumanista. Los resultados muestran cómo las relaciones animadas con materiales locales y las prácticas constructivas tradicionales forman parte de una resistencia frente a las lógicas extractivistas. Se concluye que estas prácticas no solo configuran el paisaje, sino que constituyen una crítica al modelo agroindustrial, abriendo nuevas vías para reimaginar el territorio desde una perspectiva relacional.

This paper analyzes territorial transformations and the dynamics of rural habitats in the northwest of Córdoba from a multidisciplinary perspective, exploring the notion of morethan-human architecture. Previous studies have highlighted the tensions between modernization processes and traditional practices but have underestimated the relevance of local knowledge, affectivities, and materialities in shaping rural habitats. Addressing this gap, the article examines the landscapes of progress and rural habitats to identify key elements of resistance and resilience within peasant communities, aiming to construct new narratives for the sustenance of life. The analysis combines qualitative methods with an interdisciplinary approach grounded in contributions from critical and cultural geography, rural architecture, philosophy, and posthumanist anthropology. The findings reveal how animated relationships with local materials and traditional building practices constitute a form of resistance against extractivist logics. The study concludes that these practices not only shape the landscape but also offer a critique of the agro-industrial model, paving the way for reimagining territory from a relational perspective.
