Volumetric and surface tension properties of {ethyl acetate, ethyl propanoate, butyl acetate or butyl propanoate} (1) + heptane (2) mixtures at different temperatures

Densities and surface tension of binary liquid mixtures of ethyl acetate + heptane, butyl acetate + heptane, ethyl propanoate + heptane and butyl propanoate + heptane at (288.15, 298.15 and 313.15) K have been measured at atmospheric pressure over the entire composition range. Using experimental data, the excess molar volume and surface tension deviation were calculated and correlated with Redlich-Kister equation. Excess molar volumes are positive, and surface tension deviations are negative for all temperatures. Additionally, from surface tension data, the surface entropy and surface enthalpy were calculated.
