Acción, Identidad e Historia

Abstract

Este texto parte del “quién” de la acción-agente en la perspectiva de la pragmática ricoeuriana del discurso, inspirada en la otredad levinasiana como constitutiva de la ipseidad del sujeto, para insertarlo, en un segundo momento, en la dialéctica del reconocimiento, que articula en Ricoeur la acción colectiva, inspirada en el triple pliegue de la comunidad-ipse narrativa, la lucha por el reconocimiento y las capacidades de Amartya Sen. Este pliegue de lo colectivo se reinserta en la historiografía a partir de la hermenéutica del texto, desplazando las dicotomías individualismo-holismo y explicación-comprensión en provecho de la articulación saussuriana entre estructura y agente, o lengua y habla. Finalmente, se concluye en el carácter abierto del pasado historiográfico, en semejanza con la traducción de un texto, no sin relación con el Nachleben benjaminiano.

This text starts from the ‘who’ of the action-agent in the perspective of the Ricoeurian pragmatics of discourse, inspired by Levinasian otherness as constitutive of the ipseity of the subject, to insert it, in a second moment, in the dialectic of recognition, which articulates in Ricoeur collective action, inspired by the triple fold of the narrative community-ipse, the struggle for recognition and Amartya Sen's capacities. This folding of the collective is reinserted into historiography on the basis of the hermeneutics of the text, displacing the individualism-holism and explanation-understanding dichotomies in favour of the Saussurian articulation between structure and agent, or language and speech. Finally, it concludes on the open character of the historiographical past, similar to the translation of a text, not unrelated to Benjamin's Nachleben.
