Reflexiones en torno a una teoría política de los lenguajes políticos

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es recuperar, por un lado, los aportes realizados por la nueva historia intelectual en torno a la noción de lenguajes políticos y, por el otro, los pilares teóricos de una concepción posfundacional de lo político. Para ello reconstruimos los presupuestos filosóficos que fundamentan ambas perspectivas, para luego indagar de qué modo cada una de ellas puede complementar las faltas de la otra. A partir de esta revisión, el artículo reconstruye las herramientas conceptuales para pensar una teoría política capaz de comprender la contingencia y la ambigüedad de nuestra historia política pasada y reciente. Esto quiere decir una teoría política capaz de indagar en los procesos de la construcción de sentido en los que lenguaje y política se articulan complejamente.

The aim of this paper is to recover, on the one hand, the New Intellectual History contributions surrounding the notion of political language and, on the other, the theoretical cornerstone of a post-foundational conception of politics. Thus, we reconstructed the philosophical underpinnings which underlie both perspectives in order to investigate how each of these perspectives may overcome the limitations of the other’s. From this review, the article re-constructs a variety of theoretical tools to address a political theory capable of incorporating contingency and the inherent ambiguity of our political history, both past and recent. This simply implies a political theory capable of researching the sense-making processes where language and politics are intertwined in a complex fashion.
