Del sujeto constituido al sujeto constituyente: la trascendencia de lo dado en el Hume de Deleuze

Abstract

Si, como sostiene Judith Butler, la sujeción es el proceso de devenir subordinado al poder, así como el proceso de devenir sujeto, entonces, ¿cómo puede el sujeto, constituido enteramente por el poder, enfrentar ese poder e incluso librarse de él? ¿Cómo puede constituir ese sujeto vínculos con el mundo que no sean ya relaciones de dominación?Este es el problema filosófico que se aborda en este artículo a la luz de la problemática más básica del empirismo de David Hume. En una primera instancia, se reconstruye la problematización que realiza Deleuze sobre la obra de Hume en Empirismo y subjetividad; en un segundo momento, se establece un paralelo con la argumentación que Butler ofrece en Mecanismos psíquicos del poder; luego, se comparan las distintas concepciones de la repetición en Hume y en Butler. Gracias a este paralelo y a esta comparación, se busca dar una respuesta al problema esbozado que pueda permitir continuar el camino deconstructivo del empirismo y, al mismo tiempo, pensar la posibilidad de la subversión del sujeto en términos de las relaciones de dominación a las que se encuentra sujetado.

If, as Judith Butler argues, “subjection” is the process of becoming subor-dinate to power, and the process of becoming a subject, then, how can the subject, consisting entirely by power, face that power and even get rid of it? How can this subject establish links with the world that not be relations of dominance? %is is the philosophical problem addressed in this article in the light of the most basic problem of empiricism of David Hume. At first, we reconstruct the problematization that makes Deleuze on Hume in Em-piricism and Subjectivity. In a second step, a parallel with the argument that Butler offers in "e Psychic Life of Power is established. %en we compare the different conceptions of repetition in Hume and in Butler. %anks to this parallel and this comparison, we seek to respond to the problem out-lined formerly, that can afford to continue the deconstructive path of em-piricism and, at the same time, think about the possibility of subversion of the subject in terms of relations of domination to which is subjected.
