Evangélicos y política: tensiones en torno a la libertad e igualdad religiosa en Argentina

Abstract

Los debates evangélicos actuales en torno al proyecto de una nueva ley de cultos en Argentina, propiciaron un nivel de conflictividad interno de tal magnitud que motivaron la revisión colectiva de los liderazgos establecidos, de la articulación interna de la comunidad y de los modelos públicos de la escenificación de la identidad evangélica. Identificaremos las posiciones en pugna de los actores, sus discursos, acciones y motivaciones, a los fines de visibilizar los antagonismos construidos en torno a los debates. En las conclusiones abordaremos el nivel de incidencia de las múltiples intervenciones visitadas en la configuración del campo evangélico actual, resaltando la centralidad que adquiere la cuestión representativa en la comunidad de referencia.

The current evangelical debates around the project of a new legislation of cults in Argentina promoted such a level of internal conflict that led to the collective review of the established leadership, the internal articulation of the community and the public models of the evangelical identity. We will identify the struggling position of the actors, their speeches, actions and motivations, in order to visualize the antagonisms built around the debates. In the conclusions, we will deal with the level of incidence of the multiple interventions visited in the configuration of the current evangelical field, emphasizing the importance acquired by the representative question in the community of reference.
