“Cambiá el statu quo”: paisaje lingüístico y artivismo en Córdoba (Argentina)

Abstract

Esta investigación se propone revisar algunas inscripciones y dibujos que se encuentran en calles de la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina, con el propósito de indagar en la intersección entre dos posiciones teórico-metodológicas: paisaje lingüístico y artivismo. El paisaje lingüístico involucra expresiones callejeras que no siempre presentan rasgos de autoría o de escrituras sistematizadas en el marco de una institucionalidad (escuela, academia, entre otras) al tiempo que resultan en modos de caracterizar a una ciudad al aportar una identidad siempre en construcción y en proceso. De esta manera, el paisaje lingüístico se presenta como una posibilidad de realizar –al mismo tiempo– análisis vinculados con la escritura y con el espacio a partir de intervenciones concretas que aportan un principio de reflexión sobre lo escrito, lo político, lo local y lo global, entre otros aspectos de relevancia. El presente trabajo plantea la hipótesis de que parte del paisaje lingüístico de la ciudad se inscribe en lo que se denomina "artivismo", es decir, las intervenciones callejeras resultan expresiones estéticas de un arte militante o provienen de un cierto activismo desarrollado, en los casos que ilustran esta investigación, en una dimensión política y ecológica.

This research aims to review some inscriptions and drawings found in the streets of the city of Córdoba, Argentina, with the purpose of investigating the intersection between two theoretical-methodological positions: linguistic landscape and artivism. The linguistic landscape involves street expressions that do not always present features of authorship or systematized writings within the framework of an institutionality (school, academy, among others) while at the same time they result in ways of characterizing a city by providing an identity that is always under construction and in progress. In this way, the linguistic landscape is presented as a possibility of carrying out – at the same time – analyzes linked to writing and space based on concrete interventions that provide a principle of reflection on what is written, political, local and global, among other relevant aspects. The present work raises the hypothesis that part of the linguistic landscape of the city is part of what is called “artivism”, that is, street interventions are aesthetic expressions of a militant art or come from a certain developed activism, in the cases that illustrate this research, in a political and ecological dimension.
