Historia y neutralización: el mesianismo judío de Gershom Scholem

Abstract

Nacido en una familia judía asimilada en Berlín, Gershom Scholem, el gran maestro de la mística judía, constituye uno de los pilares del pensamiento judío del siglo XX. Durante su vida se dedicó a una comprensión más profunda de la historia judía, la religión y la cultura, adquiriendo un profundo conocimiento del hebreo y de las fuentes. El objetivo de este trabajo es reconstruir la perspe(iva mesiánica que analiza Scholem para intentar entender la relevancia teológicopolítica y filosófico-política de esta idea en su obra: vinculando su teoría a su papel político y de qué manera se relaciona ello con el movimiento sionista y la construcción del Estado de Israel.

Born into an assimilated Jewish family from Berlin, Gershom Scholem, the great professor of Jewish mysticism, is one of the pillars of 20th Century Jewish thought. During his life was devoted to a deeper understanding of Jewish history, religion and culture, acquiring a deep knowledge of Hebrew and Jewish sources. 3e main obje(ive of this article is to reconstru( the messianic perspective that analyzes Scholem, trying to understand the theological-political relevance and political philosophy of this idea in his work: his theory linking his political role and how it relates to the Zionist movement and the constru(ion of the State of Israel.
