Los desafíos del reconocimiento en el siglo XXI: Una lectura psicoanalítico-política

Abstract

En este trabajo abordamos el problema político del reconocimiento desde una lectura psicoanalítica. En un contexto donde las humanidades –sino lo humano en sí mismo– parecen estar en crisis, convoca la pertinencia del psicoanálisis freudiano-lacaniano, en tanto perspectiva posicionada en los bordes de aquellas disciplinas, para reflexionar sobre la categoría política de reconocimiento. Considerando la politicidad misma del psicoanálisis, en primer lugar, rastreamos sus núcleos conceptuales fundamentales (alrededor de las nociones de sujeto, otredad, límite, muerte, violencia, entre otras) para pensar políticamente las nuevas configuraciones del poder. Luego, articulamos estos desarrollos con el análisis crítico de la sintomatología epocal para sopesar las potencialidades y los límites de la categoría de reconocimiento ante el escenario psíquico-político actual. Allí, consideramos las coordenadas que hacen a las lógicas de producción de subjetividad y ahondamos en dos de sus elementos más desafiantes para nuestros tiempos: el individuo sin límites y el anonimato del Amo.

In this paper, we address the political problem of recognition from a psychoanalytic perspective. In a context where the humanities –if not the humane itself– appear to be in crisis, the relevance of Freudian-Lacanian psychoanalysis, as a perspective positioned at the edges of those disciplines, calls us to reflect on the political notion of recognition. Considering the very political nature of psychoanalysis, we first trace its fundamental conceptual cores (around the notions of subject, otherness, limit, death, violence, among others) to politically consider the newest configurations of power. We then articulate these elaborations by analyzing the symptomatology of our era to ponder the potential and limits of the category of recognition in the current psychic-political scenario. We consider the coordinates that shape the logic of the production of subjectivity and delve into two of its most challenging elements for our times: the limitless individual and the anonymity of the Master.
