Evaluación subjetiva y calidad acústica en ejes urbanos de San Miguel de Tucumán

Abstract

Los sonidos, en un determinado contexto, influyen en la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. Cuando esos sonidos producen molestias en el usuario o afecciones en su salud, es lo que se conoce como ruido ocontaminación acústica. El paisaje sonoro permite evaluar ese contexto, empleándolo como herramienta de conservación, valoración y concienciación del ambiente, para alcanzar la calidad del hábitat. El presente trabajo aborda el estudio, desde un enfoque cualitativo, sobre la percepción y actitudes de los habitantes frente a la problemática del ruido ambiental en San Miguel de Tucumán (Argentina). Se realizaron encuestas cerradas, presenciales, en el sitio a habitantes, usuarios y transeúntes de las distintaszonas, indagando diversos aspectos perceptuales y vivenciales de los distintos ejes urbanos. A partir de los datos obtenidos se determina la importancia que se le atribuye al ruido, el nivel de conciencia sobre el fenómeno, sus causas y efectos diversos.

Sounds, in a given context, influence the quality of life of its inhabitants. When these sounds cause discomfort to the user and/or affect their health, this is known as noise or acoustic pollution. The soundscape allows us to evaluate this sound context, using it as a tool for conservation, valuation and awareness of the environment, achieving the quality of the habitat. This work deals with the study, from a qualitative approach, on the perception and attitudes of the inhabitants regarding the environmental noise problem in San Miguel de Tucumán. Closed, face-to-face surveys were carried out on site to inhabitants, users and passers-by of the different areas, inquiring about different perceptual and experiential aspects of the different urban axes. From the data obtained, the importance attributed to noise, the level of awareness of the phenomenon, its causes and various effects were determined.
