Características de la estructura productiva de Quilmes y Berazategui. Descripción y análisis de un territorio con historia industrial

Abstract

La conformación de la estructura productiva del territorio se encuentra fuertemente influida por las políticas implementadas en materia económica y comercial por los diferentes gobiernos, como así también por la evolución de la infraestructura de los municipios.Desde fines del siglo XX, el tendido de las vías del ferrocarril y la implementación del modelo de Industrialización por Sustitución de Importaciones (ISI) definieron la configuración de los centros urbanos y organizaron la localización de empresas. Los casos más emblemáticos son la Cervecería y Maltería en Quilmes y la Cristalería Rigolleau en Berazategui. En la década de los noventa la construcción de la autopista Bs.As ? La Plata aportó un nuevo enlace al interior del territorio y una nueva forma de conexión con el puerto (CABA) y la capital de la Provincia (La Plata). Sin embargo, durante los años de la Convertibilidad, las políticas desplegadas desde el gobierno nacional no fueron muy amables con la estructura productiva del territorio. Esta situación se modifica hacia el inicio del Siglo XXI, abriendo un período de nuevas oportunidades para las empresas de Quilmes y Berazategui.El desafío de este documento es aproximar a la compresión de la configuración de la estructura productiva del territorio, principalmente industrial, de las organizaciones localizadas en Quilmes y Berazategui.

The formation of the productive structure of the territory is strongly influenced by the policies implemented in economic and commercial matters by the different governments, as well as by the evolution of the infrastructure of the municipalities. Since the end of the 20th century, the laying of railroad tracks and the implementation of the Import Substitution Industrialization (ISI) model defined the configuration of urban centers and organized the location of companies. The most emblematic cases are the Brewery and Maltery in Quilmes and the Rigolleau Glassware in Berazategui. In the 1990s, the construction of the Buenos Aires – La Plata highway provided a new link to the interior of the territory and a new form of connection with the port (CABA) and the capital of the Province (La Plata). However, during the years of Convertibility, the policies deployed by the national government were not very kind to the productive structure of the territory. This situation changes towards the beginning of the 21st century, opening a period of new opportunities for companies in Quilmes and Berazategui. The challenge of this document is to approximate the understanding of the configuration of the productive structure of the territory, mainly industrial, of the organizations located in Quilmes and Berazategui.
