Astrosismología de estrellas variables δ Sct y γDor

Abstract

We present preliminary results of the initial stage of a large projectconsisting of theorical modeling of variable stars Sct and Dor. In thisfirst stage, we perform numerical simulations of the evolution andpulsations of stellar models representative of these stars, covering awide range of parameter (,,, ). Specifically, we calculated radialpulsation modes and and non-radial modes with oscillation frequenciesin the range observed for these kinds of variable stars. The huge bankof oscillation frequencies we obtained allow us to address the secondstage of the project, consisting of detailed asteroseismic analysis ofstars commonly observed by CoRoT and Kepler missions, in order toextract valuable information about the evolutionary status and internalstructure of these stars. The first results of our analysis show thesensitivity of the pulsational spectra to these parameters,demonstrating the great asteroseismic potential of Sct and Dor stars.
