Resumen
Using political ecology, social movements and critical agrarian studies approaches, we propose a territorialized climate change adaptation analysis that focuses on farmers’ strategies to address the effects of megadrought. For that purpose we used mixed methodologies to analyze the territory of Andean valleys in the Region of Valparaíso, where water scarcity had devastating effects on food production. The article identifies the potentialities and limitations of productive strategies to optimize water and land use, actions and discourses that challenge the core of agrarian neoliberal beliefs, and political strategies that face extractive capital.
