Resumen
In this paper, we present an innovative application of low coherence interferometry (LCI), explored from a first-principles approach to extend its use beyond conventional applications in metrology. We propose a signal transmission system based on LCI, in which the specifically designed modulation and demodulation schemes are detailed. We develop the theoretical basis of the system from its foundations, accompanied by simulations to validate the concept, and, finally, we show experimental results that demonstrate its effectiveness in the proposed context.
