Voces polifónicas en los márgenes del feminismo: El caso de la Ley IVE (Salta, Argentina)

Abstract

El artículo tiene por objetivo indagar de manera exploratoria las representaciones que se construyen, disputan y negocian desde los márgenes del feminismo en torno a la Ley Nacional N° 27.610 de Interrupción Voluntaria del Embarazo. Se recupera y contrasta la toma de la palabra en el espacio público de dos mujeres lideresas indígenas de la región chaqueña de la provincia de Salta, Argentina, en tanto discursos situados en los márgenes del movimiento feminista, en las fronteras culturales, idiomáticas y geopolíticas del país.El anclaje teórico utilizado articula el campo de los estudios de género desde los feminismos latinoamericanos y el campo de la comunicación para dar cuenta de las disputas por el poder de la representación acerca de la ley. El proceso metodológico se configura dentro de un enfoque cualitativo e interpretativo, con un corpus compuesto por fuentes de información documental que se aborda con las herramientas del análisis del discurso sociosemiótico.Los hallazgos indican que la legalización del aborto representó para algunas mujeres indígenas una reivindicación de liberación y autonomía individual, articulándose con la visión hegemónica, mientras para otras estuvo asociada a una práctica social ancestral que se desmarca de regulación estatal y colonial que se les impone.

The objective of this article is to investigate in an exploratory way, the representations that are constructed, disputed and negotiated from the margins of feminism around the National Law No. 27,610 for the legalization of abortion. In a particular way, the research recovers and contrasts the speaking in the public space of two indigenous women leaders from the Chaco region of the province of Salta, Argentina, which are discourses located on the margins of the feminist movement, also in the cultural, linguistic and geopolitical borders of the country. The theoretical framework of the research articulates the field of Latin American gender studies and communication science to look at the disputes over the power of representation around the IVE Law. The methodology is qualitative and interpretive for a corpus of analysis of documentary information. This material is observed with the tools of socio-semiotic discourse analysis. The results indicate that the legalization of abortion represented for some indigenous women a demand for liberation and individual autonomy, articulating with the hegemonic vision, while for others it was associated with an ancestral social practice that distances itself from state and colonial regulation imposed on them.
