"¿Por qué siempre nos enseñan lo malo del nazismo?”: Memoria y negacionismo como problemas pedagógicos

Abstract

La serie de dimensiones sobre las que este artículo pretende proponer algunas consideraciones son las siguientes. En primer término, dar cuenta de las características e historicidad de los discursos negacionistas. En segunda instancia y en función de su propia historicidad- es decir, de reconocer que el negacionismo no es una narrativa novedosa- intentaremos comprender cómo se caracteriza su configuración actual, cuáles son los canales de difusión y de qué modo estos impactan en los escenarios educativos. Finalmente, y a partir de la historización precedente y de los desafíos actuales, volver a reflexionar sobre uno de los puntos nodales de la pedagogía de la memoria: la transmisión intergeneracional.

In this work I share a reflection on the scenarios and problems that have arisen, in recent years, around the circulation of denialist narratives and hate speech in educational settings. Based on my own biographical experience and formative readings about these topics, the article attempts to understand not so much the originality of the topic but rather the characteristics of the circulation of these narratives in a country that dedicated extensive efforts to confront its dictatorial past. A first part of the work will be dedicated to accounting for the characteristics and historicity of denialist discourses. In a second instance and based on that historicity, we will try to understand how its current configuration is characterized, what the dissemination channels are and how these impact educational scenarios. Finally, and based on the preceding historicization and current challenges, we will once again reflect on one of the nodal points of the pedagogy of memory: intergenerational transmission.
