Difracciones y enredos, tejidos y remiendos: Para una ontoepistemología de visiones y contactos cuidadosos

Abstract

Ocupadxs en indagar por otros modos de investigar y de producir conocimiento académico-activista, en lo que sigue introducimos la ontología relacional de los feminismos neomaterialistas Puig de la Bellacasa para aportar una perspectiva crítica de la representación como sustento de la epistemología. Desde estas posiciones la materia cobra importancia y aparecen las categorías de difracción e intra-acción del realismo agencial de la primera y en diálogo, una ética del cuidado de visiones de contacto (touching visions) de la segunda. Esta visión que toca el conocimiento se relaciona con el mundo desde afectos y encuentros, afinidades y enredos que empujan dualismos preestablecidos (teoría/práctica, sujeto/objeto, humanxs/no humanxs, materia/discurso, academia/territorio) al límite y los reconfiguran con cuidado. Las difracciones de la visión deben poder combinarse con el (con) tacto material y de los cuerpos en compromisos relacionales de cuidado involucrados con transformaciones del mundo tangibles. En una apuesta por las técnicas situadas en el sur, retomamos las investigaciones que en esta clave materialista ha realizado Tania Pérez-Bustos (y otras) acerca del calado y el tejido con costuras para, por una parte, cuestionar los modos de producción del conocimiento tecnocientífico, y así “dar cuenta de cómo las prácticas importan”, y por otra parte comprender como las relaciones materiales con otrxs más que humanos nos constituyen.

Busy in inquiring into other ways of researching and producing academic activist knowledge, in what follows we introduce the relational ontology of the neomaterialist feminisms of Karen Barad and María Puig de la Bellacasa to provide a critical perspective of representation as a basis for the epistemology. From these positions, “matter comes to matter” and the categories of diffraction and intra-action of the agential realism of the first, appear, and in dialogue, an ethic of caring for touching visions of the second. This vision that touches knowledge is related to the world from affections and encounters, affinities and entanglements that push pre-established dualisms (theory/practice, subject/object, humans/non-humans, matter/discourse, academy/territory) to the limit and reconfigure them carefully. The diffractions of the vision must be able to be combined with the material touching and of the bodies in relational commitments of care involved with tangible transformations of the world. In a commitment to techniques located in the south, we resume the investigations that Tania Pérez-Bustos (and others) have carried out in this materialist key on openwork and weaving with seams to, on the one hand, question the modes of production of techno-scientific knowledge, and thus "accounting for how practices matter", and on the other hand understand how material relationships with others, more- than- humans constitute us.
