Etnografías feministas en América Latina: Contribuciones para un estado de la cuestión

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como principal objetivo contribuir al estado de la cuestión en el campo de las etnografías feministas en América Latina. De manera específica, nos focalizamos en investigaciones que tematizan las cuestiones de género y etnicidad. La metodología de trabajo empleada en este escrito se basa en la lectura y análisis de bibliografía específica sobre el tema. Algunas de las preguntas que orientan el análisis refieren a: cuáles son las perspectivas teórico-metodológicas en las que se enmarcan las etnografías feministas; qué problemáticas abordan las etnografías feministas latinoamericanas en el cruce temático de género y etnicidad; cuáles son las principales características de estas etnografías respecto de las distintas fases de los procesos de investigación.

The main objective of this work is to contribute to the state of the art in the field of feminist ethnographies in Latin America. Specifically, we focus on research that analyzes the dimensions of gender and ethnicity. The work methodology used is based on the reading and analysis of specific bibliography on the topic. Some of the questions that guide the analysis refer to: what are the theoretical-methodological perspectives in which feminist ethnographies are framed? What problems do Latin American feminist ethnographies address at the thematic intersection of gender and ethnicity? What are the main characteristics of these ethnographies with respect to the different phases of the research processes?
