Con el sudor de tu frente: una sociología de los cuerpos/emociones en Marx desde la comida y el hambre

Abstract

El mundo contemporáneo tiene en el hambre uno de sus desafíos centrales y en la “espectacularización de la cocina de autor” uno de los ejes por donde pasa la pornografía de unas sociedades normalizadas en el disfrute inmediato. En este contexto resulta relevante preguntarse por el lugar de la comida y el alimentarse en la teoría social en general y en especial en el legado de Marx que posibilita estructurar una sociología de los cuerpos/emociones. El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo mostrar, de un modo introductorio, cuál es el lugar del comer/alimentarse en las sociología de los cuerpos/emociones en Marx. La estructura argumentativa que se ha seleccionado es la siguiente: a) se sintetiza la pertinencia de la existencia de una sociología de los cuerpos/emociones en Marx, b) se analizan algunos textos de diferentes obras del autor enfatizando su análisis sobre el comer/alimentarse y c) se extraen algunas preguntas a modo de conclusión en conexión a la situación de la temática en el contexto actual del Sur Global. Se termina argumentado a favor de la necesidad de recorrer los caminos que se transitan entre la desigualdad en la distribución de nutrientes y la diferencia en la mercantilización de la experiencia del comer.

The contemporary world has in the hunger one of its main challenges and the "spectacle of cuisine" one of the axis through which appear the pornography of the immediate enjoyment in normalized societies. In this context it is relevant to ask about the place of food and eating in social theory in general and especially in the legacy of Marx that enabling a sociology of the body/emotions. This paper aims to show, in an introductory way, which is the place of eating/feeding in the sociology of the body/emotions in Marx. The argumentative structure is selected as follows: a) the relevance of the existence of a sociology of the body/emotions Marx, b) is synthesized some texts of diferent works by the author are discussed emphasizing its analysis of the eating/feeding c) some questions are drawn as a conclusion in connection with the status of the issue in the current contextof the Global South. It ends argued for the need to walk the paths that run between inequality in the distribution of nutrients and the difference in the commodification of the experience of eating.
