Feminismos

Abstract

El presente texto intenta ordenar y sistematizar, aunque sea a modo introductorio, el desarrollo delpensamiento y de la praxis feminista. Partimos del desafío de definir al feminismo y en el caminoexplicitamos dos cuestiones. En primer lugar, la necesidad de mencionarlo en plural: feminismos. Ensegundo lugar, la complejidad de dar una única y acabada definición al concepto de feminismo.Exponemos cómo diversas pensadoras dentro y fuera de la academia, han abonado al pensamientosocial y filosófico con conceptos y enfoques que hoy nos permiten analizar una realidad quereconocemos injusta y desigual y que pretendemos transformar. En ese camino, comprendemos queel entramado de conceptos como patriarcado, género, heteronorma, división sexual del trabajo, entreotros, tienen una historia y que lo mismo ocurre con los diversos feminismos.

This text attempts to organize and systematize, even if as an introduction, the development of feminist thought and praxis. We start from the challenge of defining feminism and along the way we explain two questions. First of all, the need to mention it in the plural: feminisms. Secondly, the complexity of giving a single, complete definition to the concept of feminism. We expose how various thinkers inside and outside the academy have contributed to social and philosophical thinking with concepts and approaches that today allow us to analyze a reality that we recognize as unfair and unequal and that we intend to transform. Along this path, we understand that the framework of concepts such as patriarchy, gender, heteronorm, sexual division of labor, among others, have a history and the same occurs with the various feminisms.
