El discurso sexo-genérico en las instituciones de ingeniería: un análisis crítico

Abstract

El presente trabajo busca contribuir al análisis crítico sobre el rol y la importancia de la comunicación institucional a través de la perspectiva de género y la interseccionalidad como herramienta para visibilizar las normas que se construyen en la cultura masculinizada de las ingenierías. Se presentan los avances preliminares de un instrumento de evaluación de la perspectiva de género y la interseccionalidad en comunicaciones institucionales digitales en el ámbito de las ingenierías de América Latina contemplando la definición de las categoría del instrumento, la creación de los criterios de evaluación y el set muestral para la prueba piloto. Los resultados de las primeras experiencias contribuyen a la mejora del instrumento al mismo tiempo que se discuten las primeras observaciones sobre las comunicaciones en las instituciones académicas en el período 2023-2024.

This work aims to contribute to the critical analysis of the role and importance of institutional communication through the perspective of gender and intersectionality as a tool to make visible the norms built in the masculinized engineering culture. The preliminary progress of an evaluation instrument of the gender perspective and intersectionality in digital institutional communications in the field of engineering in Latin America is presented, considering the definition of the categories of the instrument, the creation of the evaluation criteria, and the sample set for the pilot test. The results of the first experiences contribute to the improvement of the instrument, while the first observations on communications in academic institutions in the period 2023-2024 are discussed.
