«Mujeres de pluma»: Redes literarias y diálogos poéticos entre Ángela Figuera y Carmen Conde

Abstract

Si bien hay mayoritario consenso crítico en que no puede hablarse de un grupo femenino sólido entre las poetas españolas de posguerra (Payeras, 2009; Garcerá y Porpetta 2019), sí pueden advertirse entre ellas lazos y asociaciones que procuran sortear los reveses culturales y sociales y reivindicar su faceta autoral y «sororal» en el contexto adverso de la dictadura franquista. Así, distintos elementos textuales y paratextuales (dedicatorias, títulos, prólogos, cartas, etc.), junto con su participación en tertulias (en especial, «Versos con faldas») y lecturas, su aparición en antologías, etc. dan cuenta de múltiples estrategias de sociabilidad cultural y literaria que permiten pensar en una red femenina, de afecto y solidaridad de género. En este trabajo nos detendremos en los lazos biográficos y los vínculos poéticos entre dos de las voces más importantes del período: Ángela Figuera Aymerich y Carmen Conde. Se analizarán y serán puestas en diálogo sus (auto)figuraciones poéticas y roles sociales como mujeres que (se) escriben, eludiendo estereotipos o modelos androcéntricos y patriarcales que las confinaban a la domesticidad y el silencio.

Although there is a majority critical consensus that there is no solid female group among post-war Spanish women poets (Payeras, 2009; Garcerá and Porpetta 2019), it is possible to notice between them ties and associations that seek to overcome cultural and social setbacks and vindicate their authorial and «sororal» facet in the adverse context of the Franco dictatorship. Thus, different textual and paratextual elements (dedications, titles, prologues, letters, etc.), together with their participation in gatherings (especially "Versos con faldas") and readings, their presence in anthologies, etc., reveal multiple strategies of cultural and literary sociability that allow us to think about a feminine network of affection and gender solidarity. In this paper we will focus on the biographical ties and poetic links between two of the most important voices of the period: Ángela Figuera Aymerich and Carmen Conde. Their poetic (self-)figurations and social roles as women who write will be analysed and put into dialogue, avoiding stereotypes or androcentric and patriarchal models that confined them to domesticity and silence.
