Interacciones entre humanos,plantas y vasijas en tiempos precoloniales en las sociedades agroalfareras de la región de Soto, Córdoba

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta los primeros resultados del contenido arqueobotánico recuperado de artefactos cerámicos provenientes de contextos precoloniales del sitio Sara Olga 1, Soto, Córdoba. El objetivo es indagar los potenciales usos de estos recipientes considerando sus características morfológicas y funcionales, así como su relación con los microrrestos vegetales hallados en su interior. A partir de la reconstrucción de los recipientes, se pudo identificar un total de siete ollas, cuatro cántaros, tres escudillas y dos cuencos, mientras que nueve fragmentos analizados no pudieron adscribirse a ninguna forma específica. Los resultados del análisis de los microrrestos vegetales indican que plantas silvestres (Neltuma sp., Geoffroea decorticans, Arecaceae) y cultivadas (Zea mays, Solanaceae, Cucurbitacea) fueron manipuladas y consumidas de manera diferencial según el tipo de recipiente.

This paper presents the initial results of the analysis of the archaeobotanical content recovered from ceramic artifacts from precolonial contexts at the Sara Olga 1 site, Soto, Córdoba. The objective of the study was to investigate the potential uses of these vessels according to their morphological and functional characteristics, as well as their relationship with the plant micro-remains found inside. From the reconstruction of the vessels, a total of seven pots, four pitchers, three bowls, and two bowls were identified, while nine fragments could not be ascribed to any specific form. The results of the plant microremains analysis indicate that wild plants (Neltuma sp., Geoffroea decorticans, Arecaceae) and cultivated plants (Zea mays, Solanaceae, Cucurbitacea) were manipulated and consumed differently according to the type of container.
