La pospolítica antagonizante durante el gobierno de Mauricio Macri en Argentina (2015-2019)

Abstract

El presente artículo indaga en torno a un escenario latinoamericano signado por el ascenso de las llamadas “nuevas” derechas. Con la mirada puesta en el caso argentino, y concretamente en el gobierno de Mauricio Macri (2015-2019), nos preguntamos por el trazado de fronteras políticas y el tratamiento del conflicto en dicha experiencia política. Nuestra tesis es que el gobierno macrista se caracterizó por construir un discurso con marcadas tensiones entre la pospolítica y la exacerbación de los antagonismos, lo que hemos denominado como pospolítica antagonizante. Es decir, por un lado, se advierten declaraciones tendientes a invisibilizar el conflicto en pos de una supuesta comunidad plena y armónica; y, por el otro, se distinguen expresiones y acciones que radicalizan el conflicto en relación a algunos sectores y sujetos identificados como “enemigos” (más que adversarios políticos). A lo largo del escrito, sostenemos que dicho rasgo puede leerse como una estrategia política del macrismo en su disputa por la hegemonía, contribuyendo a obturar el abanico de posibilidades de transformación política.

This article investigates a Latin American regional context marked by the rise of the so-called “new” right. With an eye on the Argentine case, and specifically on the government of Mauricio Macri (2015- 2019), we ask about the drawing of political borders and the treatment of conflict in this political experience. We argue that the Macri government was characterized by constructing a discourse with strong tensions between post-politics and the exacerbation of antagonisms, what we have called antagonizing post-politics. On the one hand, there are statements tending to make the conflict invisible, looking forward a supposed full and harmonious community; and, on the other, we find expressions and actions that radicalize the conflict, identifying some sectors and subjects as “enemies” (rather than political adversaries). Throughout the writing, we argue that this feature can be read as a political strategy in the dispute for hegemony, contributing to block the range of possibilities for political transformation. To sustain the arguments, the text recovers the contributions of postfoundational political theory, especially from Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe, and the methodology of discourse analysis.
