Benjamin, Tzara y los rayogramas de Man Ray

Abstract

ste trabajo presenta y ofrece en español el prefacio de Tristan Tzara a Les Champs délicieux (1922), álbum de rayogramas del fotógrafo estadouni-dense Man Ray, que fue traducido por Walter Benjamin para la revista ale-mana de vanguardia G- Zeitschrift für elementare Gestaltung en 1924. Mues-tra la relación de Benjamin con Hans Richert, editor de esta revista, así como con otros de los dadaístas de Zúrich durante su estancia en Suiza, y señala el modo en que su propia traducción de Tzara fue recuperada por Benjamin en un relevante pasaje de “Kleine Geschichte der Photographie” (1931).

This paper introduces and offers in Spanish the preface by Tristan Tzara to Les Champs délicieux (1922), an album of rayographs by the American photographer Man Ray, which was translated by Walter Benjamin for the German avant-garde magazine G- Zeitschrift für elementare Gestaltung in 1924. It shows Benjamin's relationship with Hans Richert, editor of this magazine, as well as with other Zurich Dadaists during his stay in Switzerland, and highlights how his own translation of Tzara was later revisited by Benjamin in a significant passage of “Kleine Geschichte der Photographie” (1931).
