Resumen
The coproduction of pentyl valerate biofuel and the diesel additive di-n-pentyl ether from γ-valerolactone, pentanol and H2 in one-pot process is reported for the first time in spite of the opposite acidic requirements for the catalyst, analyzing the influence of the Si/Al ratio of the SiO2-Al2O3 support on the promotion of these acid-catalyzed reactions.
