Entre capitales, habitus y condiciones socio-institucionales: Las posiciones y tomas de posición de docentes-investigadores en la Universidad Nacional de San Juan

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene por finalidad indagar la configuración reciente de la llamada “profesión académica” en la Universidad Nacional de San Juan (UNSJ). Para ello, se abordan dos dimensiones analíticas: las posiciones del cuerpo docente en la estructura académica (de acuerdo a sus cargos, categorías y dedicaciones) y sus heterogéneas tomas de posición en función de sus capitales detentados y perfiles diferenciales de producción y circulación del conocimiento. La propuesta se desprende de una línea de investigación desarrollada en el Instituto de Investigaciones Socioeconómicas (IISE, Facultad de Ciencias Sociales) de la UNSJ, en el marco del Proyecto CICITCA-UNSJ denominado “Cartografía de la profesión académica en la Universidad Nacional de San Juan (2019-2024)”, acreditado vía Resolución N°0116-FCS-UNSJ-2023. El trabajo ha sido abordado desde un enfoque metodológico relacional, articulando un acceso estadístico-documental tendiente a recrear las condiciones objetivas de configuración del espacio académico estudiado, con un acceso etnográfico enfocado en recuperar las experiencias de docencia e investigación de profesores/as de la Universidad, a partir de sus propios testimonios.

The purpose of this article is to investigate the recent configuration of the so-called academic profesión at the National University of San Juan (UNSJ). For that, two analytical dimensions are addressed: the positions of the teaching staff in the academic structure (according to their positions, categories and dedications) and their heterogeneous position-takings based on their held capitals and differential profiles of production and circulation of knowledge. The proposal is derived from a line of research developed at the Institute of Socioeconomic Research (IISE, Faculty of Social Sciences) of the UNSJ, within the framework of the CICITCA-UNSJ Project called Cartography of the academic profession at the National University of San Juan (2019-2024), accredited by the No. 0116-FCS-UNSJ-2023 Resolution. The paper has been approached from a relational methodological approach, articulating a statistical-documentary Access aimed at recreating the configuration objective conditions of the academic space studied, with an ethnographic Access focused on recovering the teaching and research experiences of teachers at the University, based on their own testimonies.
