La apuesta armada: La parábola del PRT-ERP en el frigorífico Swift (1965-1976)

Abstract

En este artículo nos proponemos abordar la trayectoria del PRT-ERP en el frigorífico Swift de Rosario, en el periodo transcurrido entre 1965 y 1976. Analizaremos las diferentes estrategias que la organización se fue dando a lo largo del tiempo para poder acercarse a la clase trabajadora de ese establecimiento y convertirse en una referencia político-sindical. Estas incluyeron la proletarización de sectores medios, el acompañamiento de listas opositoras, la creación de una agrupación propia y el impulso a la actividad reivindicativa, los debates en torno a la política militar en relación con la cuestión sindical, las formas de liarse con los barrios obreros por fuera del marco del lugar de trabajo yel intento por “crear el Partido en las fábricas”. Además, prestaremos especial atención a los vínculos y las tensiones entre la política sindical y la cuestión militar.

The aim of this article is to address the trajectory of PRT-ERP at the meat processing plant “Swfit”, among the period 1965-1976. We intend to analyze the different strrategies developed by the organization to be able to approach the working class of that factory and become a political and trade unión reference. These estrategies included the proletarianization of middle sectors, the accompaniment of opposition lists, the creation of their own group, the debates around military policy in relation to the union issue, the ways of getting involved with the neighborhoods and, to the attempt to "create the Party in the factory" In addition, we will pay special attention to the links and tensions between trade union politics and the military issue.
