Más allá de la hipótesis represiva

Abstract

Nos proponemos desarrollar las críticas a la hipótesis represiva realizada por Michel Foucault en su libro La voluntad de saber, con el fin de evaluar la pertinencia de la misma sobre el pensamiento de Sigmund Freud, específicamente en el llamado “giro del 20”. En vistas de tal fin, en primer lugar, desarrollaremos las críticas a la hipótesis represiva tal y cómo Foucault las despliega, sistematizándolas en las tres preguntas por él señaladas en el primer apartado del libro (pregunta histórica, histórico-teórica e histórica-política) y nutriendo su desarrollo con las investigaciones presentadas por el autor en el capítulo “El dispositivo de sexualidad”. En segundo lugar, tomaremos el texto Más allá del principio de placer como desarrollo representativo del pensamiento freudiano, aprovechando la perspectiva que el autor presenta allí sobre sus trabajos previos para ilustrar el primer y el segundo modelo pulsional. Finalmente atisbaremos una conclusión en donde evaluaremos la pertinencia o no de la crítica foucaultiana para los modelos freudianos.

We aim to develop the critiques on the repressive hypothesis made by Michel Foucault in his book The Will to Knowledge, in order to evaluate it´s relevance on Sigmund Freud´s thinking, specifically in the so-called "turn of 20". In view of this purpose, firstly, we will develop the critiques on the repressive hypothesis just like Foucault develops them, systematizing them in the three questions indicated by him in the first section of its book (historical, historicaltheoretical and historical-political questions) and nurturing its development with the research presented by the author in the chapter "The deployment of sexuality". Secondly, we will take the text Beyond the pleasure principle as a representative development of Freudian thought, taking advantage of the perspective that the author presents there on his previous works to illustrate the first and second drive model. Finally, we will glimpse a conclusion where we will evaluate the relevance or not of Foucault´s critiques on Freudian models.
