Rimas sobre el cuerpo en el rap en acción en clave lúdica: Uso y percepciones de raperos y raperas en el sudoeste bonaerense

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene por fin identificar los posibles “límites” que fronterizan lo risible en la matriz histórico-social en la que se inserta el rap en acción (freestyle) en el sudoeste bonaerense argentino. Se aspira a relevar las elecciones léxicas más frecuentes, a fin de dar cuenta de las estrategias y los recursos lingüísticos, paralingüísticos y no verbales, así como fenómenos de variación según variables sociodemográficas y pragmático-discursivas. A partir de un enfoque pragmático amplio, se integran aportes de la indexicalidad, del continuum x-femístico y del humor verbal. Se conforma un corpus audiovisual obtenido de la observación de 43 competencias (2019-2023) y la realización de entrevistas semiestructuradas a 33 jóvenes freestylers (25 raperos y 8 raperas). Preliminarmente, se observa el empleo creativo de estrategias discursivas que tienden a la suavización o intensificación de los enunciados con fines lúdicos, atendiendo a la incidencia de determinadas variables como el contexto situacional, la envergadura del evento, el grado de conocimiento entre participantes, el nivel de destreza verbal, no verbal y paraverbal y el tiempo de experiencia/trayectoria en la Cultura Hip Hop. A partir de sus percepciones, se observa que poseen un alto grado de conciencia de los límites para hacer humor según el contexto y un nivel de reflexión sobre la propia práctica discursiva disfemística, sobre temáticas de agenda y de diversidad sexual inscriptas en polémicas más amplias, entre otros.

This paper investigates the possible "limits" of the laughable in the social-historical frame in which rap in action (freestyle) is inserted in the Southwest of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The purpose is to obtain the most frequent lexical choices, in order to consider the linguistic, paralinguistic and non-verbal strategies and resources, as well as the variation phenomena according to sociodemographic and pragmatic-discursive variables. This work is based on a broad pragmatic approach, with contributions from the indexicality, the x-femistical continuum and verbal humour. The audiovisual corpus is formed by 43 competitions (observed between 2019 and 2023) and there is a set of semi-structured interviews with 33 young freestylers (25 male rappers and 8 female rappers). Preliminarily, we observe the creative use of discursive strategies that tend to soften or intensify the statements for playful purposes, taking into account the incidence of certain variables such as the situational context, the size of the event, the degree of knowledge among participants, the level of verbal, nonverbal and paraverbal skills and the time of experience/trajectory in the Hip Hop culture. From their perceptions, it is observed that they have a high degree of awareness of the limits to make humor according to the context and a level of reflection on their own dysphemistic discursive practice, on agenda and sexual diversity issues inscribed in broader controversies, among others.
