Disidentes en el exilio: Montoneros 17 de Octubre y los desplazamientos de la subjetividad revolucionaria armada en el cambio de década

Abstract

Con herramientas historiográficas y teórico-políticas, este artículo se centra en la confor­mación del último grupo disidente de la organización político-militar argentina Monto­neros, Montoneros 17 de Octubre. Se reconstruyen su surgimiento, sus redes y sus debates, interrogando las transformaciones de la subjetividad revolucionaria armada que se suce­dieron en el exilio. Para ello, se utilizan documentos internos, comunicados, órganos de prensa y testimonios orales y escritos. ¿Qué significados sobre la violencia sostuvieron? ¿Qué idea de revolución defendieron? ¿Cómo se hibridaron estos elementos propios de la militancia de los setenta con la noción de democracia y de derechos humanos que circu­ló a inicios de los ochenta? A través de estas preguntas, el artículo pretende: a) aportar al estudio de las discusiones internas y de la cultura normativa de los grupos armados de la nueva izquierda latinoamericana de los años sesenta y setenta; b) contribuir al examen de las redes transnacionales que atravesaron y sostuvieron esos grupos; c) analizar las expe­riencias exiliares originadas a raíz de la represión de las dictaduras instauradas en el Cono Sur; y d) comprender los desplazamientos de la subjetividad revolucionaria a fines de los setenta y comienzos de los ochenta.

By means of historiographical and theoretical-political tools, this article focuses on the formation of the last dissident group of the Argentinian political-military organization Montoneros, Montoneros 17 de Octubre. Its emergence, networks and debates are reconstructed questioning the transformations of the armed revolutionary subjectivity that took place in exile. For this purpose, internal documents, statements, press organs and oral and written testimonies are used. Which meanings about violence did they hold? What idea of revolution did they defend? How were these elements of militancy of the seventies hybridized with the notion of democracy and human rights that circulated at the beginning of the eighties? Through these questions, the article aims to: a) contribute to the study of the internal discussions and the normative culture of the armed groups of the new Latin American left in the 1960s and 1970s; b) contribute to the examination of the transnational networks that crossed and sustained these groups; c) contribute to the analysis of the exile experiences resulting from the repression of the dictatorships established in the Southern Cone; and d) contribute to the understanding of the displacement of revolutionary subjectivity at the end of the 1970s and the beginning of the 1980s.
