Lo animal en lo humano: umbral imagológico entre dos mundos

Abstract

En el presente trabajo, nos proponemos indagar en la figuración de lo animal en lo humano a partir de la experiencia del descubrimiento y la conquista de América, como umbral imagológico entre dos mundos, el conocido y el “por conocer”, desde la perspectiva europea, y cómo esta emerge en la literatura. En una segunda instancia, nos proponemos estudiar la evolución de un imagotipo particular, el de la mujer-pez, y presentar una lectura de la novela La pez (2023), de Gabriela Larralde, que recupera este constructo imagológico para abordarlo a contrapelo de la tradición eurocentrista, desde el marco del feminismo decolonial.

In this paper, we propose to investigate the figuration of the animal in the human from the experience of the discovery and conquest of America, as an imagological threshold between two worlds, the known and the "to be known", from the European perspective, and how this emerges in literature. In a second instance, we propose to study the evolution of a particular imagotype, that of the fish-woman, and present a reading of the novel La pez (2023), by Gabriela Larralde, which recovers this imagological construct to address it against the grain of the Eurocentric tradition, from the framework of decolonial feminism.
