Una mirada al archivo y al posthumanismo en la narrativa de Víctor Montoya

Abstract

En la siguiente publicación, nos proponemos abordar la lectura de una selección de cuentos del libro Cuentos de la mina (2012) del autor boliviano Víctor Montoya, dentro de una propuesta enmarcada en las teorías del archivo y del posthumanismo. La búsqueda que atravesará el trabajo se basa en cuestionar a partir de la figura del Tío los sistemas referenciales de la mina y de esta manera problematizar la percepción del desgaste físico que sufren tanto los trabajadores como la montaña. Tenemos por objetivo contribuir al estudio de la narrativa minera actual en la perspectiva de las teorías del archivo y de los nuevos materialismos a partir de los modos en que la figura del Tío desafía a los modelos coloniales que distinguen entre lo humano y lo no humano.

In the following publication, we propose to approach the reading of a selection of stories from the book Cuentos de la mina (2012) by the Bolivian author Víctor Montoya, within a proposal framed in Bennet's theories of the archive and the posthumanism. The search that will go through the work is based on questioning the referential systems of the mine through the figure of Tio, and thus problematize the perception of the physical wear suffered by both workers and the mountain. We aim to contribute to the study of the current mining narrative in the perspective of the theories of the archive and the new materialisms from the ways in which the figure of the Uncle challenges the colonial models that distinguish between the human and the non-human.
