Las emociones en los tratados legislativos de Filón y las concepciones del legado estoico

Abstract

A partir de la problemática de la cuestión de las emociones en tratados legislativos de Filón de Alejandría y su relación con el legado estoico, nuestro estudio se propone indagar espacios poco explorados por la investigación académica. Por un lado, busca ana-lizar la definición de páthos en los tratados legislativos de Filón, especialmente en Spec. 4.79. Por otro lado, procura examinar la clasificación de las emociones en esos tratados, reflexionando sobre la representación afectiva en el marco de la teoría de la voluntariedad (Decal. 142) y de los valores buenos y malos, presentes y futuros, de los bienes (Decal. 142-146). Con esto pretende contribuir al diálogo de la cuestión de la emo-ciones en el campo de los estudios filónicos y, a través de este, de la Antigüedad griega.

: From the problematic of the question of emotions in legislative treatises of Philo of Alexandria, and its relation to the Stoic legacy, our study aims to investigate areas little explored by academic research. On the one hand, it seeks to analyze the definition of páthos in Philo’s legislative treatises, especially in Spec. 4.79. On the other hand, it attempts to examine the classification of emotions in these treatises, reflecting on the affective representation within the framework of the theory of voluntariness (Decal. 142) and of the good and bad values, present and future, of the goods (Decal. 142-146). With this, it intends to contribute to the dialogue on the issue of emotions in the field of Philonic studies and, through this, of Greek Antiquity.
