Domesticar la teoría (queer): una investigación performática

Abstract

La institucionalización de la teoría queer como campo de estudio privilegió su condición pública e intelectual. En este artículo presentamos los hallazgos de una investigación doctoral que valorizó su composición doméstica, a partir de una autobiografía performática con la educación íntima, cotidiana y familiar de su autora. Entre sexualidades, alimentaciones y desechos, se expande la lectura del texto al cuerpo, como ambiente para identificar una serie de categorías conceptuales. La inseparabilidad del medio próximo que nos rodea, como investigación-vida, es propicia para recuperar saberes blandos y desprestigiados socialmente en la compulsión intelectual de la academia.

The institutionalization of queer theory as a field of study privileged its public and intellectual status. In this article we present the findings of a doctoral research that valued the domestic composition of queer theory, based on a performative autobiography with the family education of its author. Reorienting the reading of the text to the environment, a series of conceptual categories are identified that between sexualities, diets and environments expand the body. The inseparability of the immediate environment that surrounds us, as research-life, is conducive to recovering soft and socially discredited knowledge in intellectual academic compulsion.
