Córdoba y el sur entre el dominio juarista y la ‘red de Roca’: Acuerdos, ascenso y proyección de una dirigencia regional (1870-1892)

Abstract

Nuestro objetivo es reconstruir y analizar las trayectorias de cuatro individuos que alcanzaron proyección política a nivel provincial y nacional, actuando desde la región sur de Córdoba gracias a la presencia de Julio Roca en la Comandancia de Fronteras quien construyó allí su red de poder. A ello se suman las conexiones con Miguel Juárez Celman, en el marco de la consolidación del Partido Autonomista Nacional y las dinámicas interliguistas cuando se convirtió en partido hegemónico. Trabajaremos con correspondencia privada, documentación oficial y publicaciones periódicas que serán abordadas cualitativamente. Reducir la escala de análisis permitirá la articulación de los niveles macro y micro y, por ende, detallar los procesos políticos y establecer con mayor rigor las relaciones de causalidad. A través del seguimiento nominal pudimos advertir las trayectorias, los marcos de posibilidades y decisiones y las estrategias implementadas para identificar que Manuel Espinosa, Eduardo Racedo, Wenceslao Tejerina y Ambrosio Olmos lograron incorporarse a los gobiernos provinciales y/o nacionales. Adicionalmente, tomamos en cuenta las trayectorias bifurcadas según los marcos de construcción de sus candidaturas, los nexos y las coyunturas de desempeño.

Our objective is to reconstruct and analyze the trajectories of four individuals who achieved political projection at the provincial and national level, acting from the southern region of Córdoba thanks to the presence of Julio Roca in the Border Command who built his power network there. Added to this are the connections with Miguel Juárez Celman, in the framework of the consolidation of the National Autonomist Party and the interleague dynamics when it became the hegemonic party. We will work with private correspondence, official documentation and periodical publications that will be approached qualitatively, reducing the scale of analysis, which will allow the articulation of the macro and micro levels and, therefore, study the political processes with an important level of detail, establish with more rigorous causal relationships and think about the complexity of the processes. Through the nominal monitoring we were able to notice the trajectories, the frameworks of possibilities and decisions and the strategies implemented to identify that Manuel Espinosa, Eduardo Racedo, Wenceslao Tejerina and Ambrosio Olmos managed to join the provincial and/or national governments. In this we take into account the bifurcated trajectories according to the construction frameworks of their candidacies, the links built and the performance junctures.
