Animalidad y humanidad en la filosofía de Feuerbach (1828-1843)

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es abordar la problematización filosófica de la animalidad en la obra de Ludwig Feuerbach. Para cumplirlos, analizaremos principalmente las obras del período 1828-1843 organizadas en tres grupos. El primer grupo comprende el período 1828-1830. En esta fase Feuerbach adopta una definición tradicional del hombre y establece una diferencia cualitativa entre humano y animal. El segundo grupo incluye textos del periodo 1839-1841. Aunque Feuerbach renuncia a la imagen racionalista del ser humano, no abandona la tesis de una diferencia cualitativa entre el ser humano y el animal. El tercer grupo está formado por escritos del periodo 1842-1843. Ahora Feuerbach entiende al ser humano como un ser natural, y sostiene que existe una diferencia de grado entre el hombre y el animal.

This paper aims to address the philosophical problematization of animality in Ludwig Feuerbach's work. For this purpose, we will analyze the works of the period 1828- 1843, organized into three groups. The first group comprises the period 1828-1830. At this stage, Feuerbach adopts a traditional definition of man and establishes a qualitative difference between the human being and the animal. The second group includes texts from the period 1839-1841. Although Feuerbach renounces the rationalist image of man, he does not abandon the thesis of a qualitative difference between human beings and animals. The third group is composed of writings from the period 1842-1843. Feuerbach now thinks that the human being is a natural being, and he argues that there is a difference in degree between man and animal.
