¿Insurrección nacional o revolución proletaria?: Un estudio comparativo del Partido Comunista Francés y la IV Internacional en Francia durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial (1941-1944)

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar comparativamente la política de la IV Internacional y del Partido Comunista Francés entre 1941 y 1943 a través de sus documentos impresos. Nos enfocaremos en las estrategias de resistencia que cada organización llevó a cabo e indagaremos las políticas diseñadas por cada organización hacia los soldados alemanes. El análisis comparativo entre estas dos organizaciones en este período resulta interesante en tanto ambas desarrollaron su política en la clandestinidad y sufrieron la persecución de los nazis, pero queda el interrogante de por qué su influencia en las masas y crecimiento en las décadas de posguerra fue radicalmente distinto. Así, es necesario tener en cuenta las condiciones en las que cada partido se encontraba al iniciar el conflicto bélico. El contraste entre la política de “insurrección nacional” del PCF con la perspectiva de “revolución internacional proletaria” de la IV Internacional demarcó las alianzas y los objetivos de cada organización de cara a la posguerra. Asimismo, la relación entre ambos partidos estuvo atravesada por denuncias cruzadas e intentos de trabajo conjunto, pero también por las disputas históricas del partido bolchevique y la política estalinista de persecución de los militantes trotskistas.

This article compares the politics of the Fourth International and the French Communist Party between 1941 and 1943, analyzing their printed documents. We will focus on the resistance strategies that each organization carried out and investigate the policies designed by each organization toward German soldiers. The comparative analysis between these two organizations in this period is fundamental since both developed their politics underground and suffered persecution from the Nazis. Still, the question remains as to why their influence on the masses and their growth in the post-war decades were radically different. Thus, it is necessary to consider the conditions in which each party found itself when the war began. The contrast between the pcf’s policy of “national insurrection” and the “international proletarian revolution” perspective of the Fourth International demarcated the alliances and objectives of each organization facing the post-war period. Likewise, the relationship between the two parties was marked by crossed denunciations and attempts at joint work, but also by the historical disputes of the Bolshevik party and the Stalinist policy of persecuting Trotskyist militants.
