Teoría feminista y pensamiento político: Repensar los derechos, la libertad y la igualdad

Abstract

En el presente artículo se propone un recorrido sobre tres conceptos centrales y estructurantes tanto de la teoría política feminista como del pensamiento político moderno occidental: las nociones igualdad, libertad y derechos. En un primer momento se realiza un recorrido en clave histórica sobre la situación de las mujeres a partir de las transformaciones económicas y políticas que el capitalismo trajo aparejadas. En el segundo apartado, se abordan en clave teórica los modos en los que el liberalismo da forma a las nociones que nos ocupan y las críticas que la teoría feminista realiza a ese abordaje. Por último, se presentan las ideas que aporta la teoría política feminista a los conceptos de derecho, igualdad y libertad.

This paper proposes a review of three central and structuring concepts of both feminist political theory and modern western political thought: the notions of equality, freedom and rights. First, a historical overview of the situation of women is presented, starting with the economic and political transformations brought about by capitalism. In the second section, the ways in which liberalism gives shape to the notions we are dealing with and the criticisms that feminist theory makes of this approach are discussed from a theoretical point of view. Finally, the ideas that feminist political theory contributes to the concepts of right, equality and freedom are presented.
