Abstract

Este artículo analiza el poemario El disco de Newton. Diez ensayos sobre el color, de Cristina Rivera Garza, a partir de cuatro ejes de lectura. El primero se vinculará con las relaciones que el libro establece con el blog de Rivera Garza, No hay tal lugar. A partir del segundo eje, que ofrecerá un panorama general del texto, el análisis se centrará en algunos de los poemas, para desarrollar ciertos elementos que consideramos relevantes. El tercer eje detallará ciertos rasgos distintivos de cómo entendemos la narrativa en El disco de Newton, en particular, y en la literatura de Rivera Garza, en general. El cuarto eje revisará el carácter lúdico y experimental del poemario como forma de expansión de los límites de las formas narrativas, los géneros y las disciplinas.

This article analyzes the collection of poems El disco de Newton. Diez ensayos sobre el color, by Cristina Rivera Garza, based on four axes of reading. The first will be linked to the relationships that the book establishes with Rivera Garza's blog No hay tal lugar. Starting from the second axis,which will offer a general overview of the text, the analysis will focus on some of the poems, to develop certain elements that we consider relevant. The third axis will detail some distinctive features of how we understand the narrative in El disco de Newton, in particular, and in Rivera Garza's literature, in general. The fourth axis will review the playful and experimental nature of the poetry collection as a way of expanding the limits of narrative forms, genres and disciplines.
