Imaginarios territoriales en diálogo entre Argentina y España en documentales contemporáneos: Desplazamientos, pertenencias y desarraigos

Abstract

This essay addresses a group of documentaries directed by Argentinians during XXI century, which represents different imaginaries shared between Argentina and Spain. The query about feelings of belonging and uprooting is treated through the analyses of mobility and displacement in the films, as well through the exam of the link between social and personal paths. The core focus of the article is posed in El exterior, a film directed by Sergio Cristolo in 2006, in which all these matters find a complex and unusual development.
