dc.description.abstract
The proposed work is part of a research initiative aiming to advance scientific knowledge in an overlooked domain, specifically, cultural landscapes in relation to sustainable habitats. This initiative recognizes the bioculture [urban-territorial] binome, understood as living organisms located in a certain space, as a transdisciplinary framework and concept dedicated to portraying cultural landscapes as heritage, memory and live practices of constructed enviroments. The bio-culture [urban-territorial] relationship is not coincidental but rather the result of the interdependence between human societies and their biological surroundings. By interpreting territories through the lens of this concept, the goal is to identify practices, tools, and sensitive techniques for understanding the landscape.Engaging in critical reflection on instruments for sensitive urban-territorial reading (Santos, 1996; Prada-Jurado, 2012; López Silvestre, 2016, 2009; Sobrino Manzanares & López Silvestre, 2006, among others) allows the updating of a conductive thread that tries to overcome objectual readings in an attempt to expand the integral and systemic vision that comes from urban-territorial bio-culture.This effort aims to broaden the comprehensive and systemic vision derived from the bio-culture [urbanterritorial] perspective. This serves as a foundational step in proposing alternative tools for sensitive interpretation that can be applied to the realm of learning processes.
